Are electronic 3D glasses required?

Electronic Liquid Crystal shutter glasses are required and wired or wireless 3D glasses can be used either with a Din-3 Video card or with or with a PC dongle setup such as the one that comes with our Home Theater HD Processor Theater Movie Viewing Package (which is an add on option at the top of this page).

What is special about your “3D Compatible Projectors”?

Our 3D Compatible Projectors have been fully tested to work with any 3D Page Flip application including video games, Open GL applications as well as with popular 3D Moives. Certain modifications have been made to the projectors and they come with a full warranty. Currently we have decided not to do a contract with any particular manufacturer as certain customers would prefer a low cost solution (less than $1000) for decent results and other customers may prefer a commercial application that runs up to 50,000 Lumens (that would be priced around $10,000).

What does the refresh rate posted above mean?

The refresh rate refers to how fast that the glasses can operate (controlled by the PC) and still function properly with the projector. Most of our “3D Compatible Projectors” operate at 85hz which has a very minimal flicker if you were operating the projector in plain daylight. By comparison 60hz is what is done by the Virtual FX 3D Converter and all other standard picture tube televisions (in North America). We do stock a few 120hz “3D Compatible Projectors” which are completely flicker free.

Some of your “3D Compatible Projectors” have 2 VGA inputs. Can I use two different inputs at the same time?

You can connect as many inputs as you like however only one output can be used at a time. With our optional Home Theater HD Processor Theater Movie Viewing Package you can use two inputs and output one signal to the projector.

Can your “3D Compatible Projectors” work in 2D?

Yes all of our “3D Compatible Projectors” can function in 2D via various inputs on the projector.

Can I play HD on your “3D Compatible Projectors”

Yes you can play HD 3D movies which are just now becoming available with our Home Theater HD Processor Theater Movie Viewing Package via a PC and the VGA connection or you can play standard 2D via component or HDMI with most of our “3D Compatible Projectors”.

What is the warranty on your “3D Compatible Projectors”?

The warranty varies on different units however each one does come with a minimum 90 day unlimited usage warranty.
